We lost a wonderful golfer, but an even better man, with the passing of Bruce Fleisher. Here is a man who loved the game from an early age, and was a competitor his entire life. Bruce won the U.S. Amateur at age 19, played on the regular @PGATOUR, and then found new life and success as a senior. Among his 18 wins on the @PGATOURChampions was the 2001 U.S. Senior Open. Bruce nipped me that final round, and I’ve never seen a man so happy—nor have I been so happy for someone. Bruce was a genuinely kind man, always pleasant to be around and pleasant to all who were fortunate to know him. We will miss him a great deal.
