We first met Vadim, in incredible young man, when he was an honored guest of Night to Shine in the Ukraine. His story inspired me, and it inspired this fundraiser— Darkness to Light, because we believe his story encompasses what it means to go from darkness – a darkness that is so incomprehensible to you and I, to the life-saving light of Jesus Christ. Now, I’m blessed to share his incredible, yet unimaginable story. His story is hard to understand. It’s hard to understand why people would do what they did to him. It’s truly difficult for me to comprehend. But, I’m so grateful for Vadim and that I can call him a brother in Christ knowing he is living in the light now.
