Apparently, gifting vinyl records was all the rage this year.
According to Billboard, the U.S. is seeing another huge surge in vinyl sales ahead of the Christmas holiday.
During the first week of December, the United States saw a massive increase in vinyl record sales. According to Billboard, 1.253 million were sold in the week ending on Dec. 3. Part of the reason for the uptick in sales was due to Record Store Day‘s Black Friday event where rare vinyl pressings were available in limited quantities.
