The Kardashians have been on our screens for many years, and as their stint on TV comes to an end, we take a look at the times we could have sworn they were Scottish.

From weans named (and almost named) after our country and a famous Glasgow train station – to holidays doon Craig Tara caravan park – there’s little doubt we can claim the biggest celebrity family since the Krankies as our own.

Kim Kardashian is believed to be related to Rob Roy MacGregor

Last year, the Daily Record revealed that Kim Kardashian was a relative of Highland hero Rob Roy MacGregor and is descended from Scottish Royalty.

The ultra-famous mum of four can trace her family lineage right back to the MacGregor clan and is related to famous cattle thief and Jacobite rebel Rob Roy, which gives her a link to the first King of Scots, Kenneth MacAlpin.
