Thanks to @manchaskt for holding the “BTeam Ramp Backyard Blast” yesterday, keeping the core of skateboarding – and the passion for vert – alive by opening up his home to a blend of organized ramp chaos rarely seen since the ’80s. The vibe was contagious and everyone was stepping up their game in each session.
As the “Legends” division was ending, legendary announcer @doubleddunc suggested that @christianhosoi and I do some doubles. We then planned for a couple of over/under tricks, quickly realizing it was the first time we’ve done doubles… ever. Christian did a 5-0 under my alley-oop and then I tailslid under his. If you think vert is dead, you simply weren’t paying attention.
