Taylor Swift attended the premiere of her ‘All Too Well’ short film on Friday (November 12) which was held at the AMC Lincoln Square 13 in New York City.

I don’t know about you, but I would’ve expected another sparkling dress much like the look she wore for her guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,’ but she opted to wear a purple velvet suit from Etro.

I adore the opulent tailoring codes and the classic silhouette with padded shoulders.

At first I wasn’t crazy about the contrasting lapels, but on reflection I like how the style imbues a sharper aesthetic.
