The presenter, who is a massive Arsenal fan, branded Tierney, from Motherwell, a ‘Scottish warrior’ as he contributed to getting the team through to the last 16 of the Europa League.
Speaking on Twitter, the Good Morning Britain host said: “Arsenal are a different team and different mentality with this ferocious Scottish warrior in the side.

Tierney returned to the pitch last night after being out since the middle of January due to injury.
And his return was much to the Gunners’ delight as he managed to score a goals in their win against Benfica.
And many agreed with Piers online.
