On the eve of my trip to see skateboarding’s debut in the Olympic Games, it is with great pride that I share this news: we will be holding a world class vert contest next month (on my ramp). Vert skating has been unfortunately sidelined recently in the wake of “park” events, but that hasn’t stopped us from pushing limits on the halfpipe, as was exemplified with an insane finals and @gui_khury’s 1080 at @xgames the other day.
