Meet Randy…On February 8th of 2020 in Guatemala (the same day Night to shine was hosted at Tebow Down Guatemala), Randy was in the backseat of his mother’s car when she had a heart attack, got into an accident, and lost her life. A few hours later, city officials found Randy, a 5-year-old boy with Down Syndrome in the back seat of the car. A week later, a friend of the family contacted Tebow Down Guatemala to ask if they could help both Randy and his 11-year-old sister Emily, who was also born with an intellectual disability. Their dad is blind and works part time, so the grandmother was left as the primary caregiver. After hearing their story, Tebow Down Guatemala immediately offered them a scholarship and provided them with groceries throughout 2020. Thanks to your giving, stories like this are possible.
