Prior to tonight’s premiere for Maggie Gyllenhaal’s directorial debut film, ‘The Lost Daughter’ which stars Olivia Colman and Dakota Johnson, the actress was spotted headed out to dinner in Venice with her husband Peter Sarsgaard on Thursday (September 2).

Much like her Cannes Film Festival style, I am expecting more of the same from Maggie.

Simple silhouettes, muted colours, and plenty of chic appeal.

All three were very much present when observing her Marina Moscone Spring 2021 black silk dress.

While we can’t see the full look, I’m focused on fluidity of this dress, which features a juxtaposing twisted front with cape-inspired drapery down the back.
