I wasn’t surprised to see Jodie Turner-Smith at the 2021 LACMA Art+Film Gala presented by Gucci at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Saturday (November 6) in California, because 2021 has seen her wear Gucci more than any other label.

Her most notable Gucci moment of the year came from the ‘Stillwater’ Cannes Film Festival premiere.

I always want to celebrate a Jodie Turner-Smith look.  Because she’s fearless, loves to take risks, and isn’t afraid of colour.

But struggled to get past the makeup.

That was until I saw just how beautiful it was under softer light on Allan Avendaño – her makeup artist – Instagram.

Some might still feel that that makeup doesn’t work on account of the green…
