I expected the expected when it came to Jennifer Lopez during the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda 2021 festivities in Venice, Italy this weekend, but she threw me a curve ball.

I would’ve bet money on a slit to the thigh, sultry fitted number, but she gave us just a little bit of everything when it came to this Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2019 brocade three-piece look.

The jewel in this crown was the turquoise cape which transported this away from typical JLo territory to something that was super maximalist once you factor in the jeweled bra top and metallic floral print black trousers, and the assortment of accessories – including a tiara – which were also heavily embellished.

Some might find this OTT, but to me it is OTT…
