Helena Bonham Carter was nominated for the Supporting Actress at the 2021 BAFTA TV Awards for her portrayal of Princess Margaret in Netflix series ‘The Crown.’

She may have taken a night off wearing all-black, but the quirks, and signature shades thankfully remained.

I was very surprised to see that she opted to wear this white Dolce & Gabbana tulle, tiered polka dot gown.

So whimsical in nature, it’s very outside her usual gothic, grungy M.O.

I am by no means complaining as you know I’m all about the ‘something new.’

She has the personality to pull this off, and considering we are now – finally – experiencing summer weather, this dress was perfect for a sunny Sunday afternoon.
