Hailee Steinfeld attended the premiere of Penelope Cruz’s new film ‘Competencia Oficial’ during the 2021 Venice International Film Festival on Saturday (September 4).

We haven’t seen the actress on the red carpet since the 2020 BRIT Awards, so it was good to see her back.

The actress wore an Armani Prive Spring 2006 dress accented with lace, crystals and sequins.

IMHO, unfortunately, it’s doing nothing for her, as I don’t think it is that flattering on her at all.I don’t mind at all how it was modified from the runway, but the restructuring of the bodice feels like it needed a little more work.

By lifting the skirt a few inches higher, the end result reads a little too boxy on Hailee for me.
