As expected, Emily Blunt was one of the highlights of the 2021 Met Gala on Monday (September 13).
If you’re looking for the theme, her stylist Jessica Paster shared on Instagram that she was inspired by the iconic film actress Hedy Lamarr, who starred in the 1941 film ‘Ziegfeld Girl.’
While some homages were ‘copied,’ Emily’s custom Miu Miu corseted see-through nude tulle column dress took an inspired path, as it was adorned with plenty of crystal embroidery, crystal fringes and stars with the drama amplified by the white cape.
You know I love a cape moment.
Much like her 2019 Met Gala look, the actress added a custom headpiece, which was also embellished with pearls and stars detailing.
