On Wednesday (July 14) Cynthia Erivo attended the Saks Hampton Dinner held at the Parrish Art Museum in New York.

While I wouldn’t regard this as dressing down, I was excited to see something new and less “dressy” from the British actress who had a stellar awards season.

Particularly this Alexander McQueen hybrid denim jacket – which I have had my eye on since it dropped online – that she paired with the same hybrid denim skirt we saw in the look book.

I have a feeling the accessories will throw some off this look.

Personally, I’m well used to the stiletto nails, nose ring and stacks of jewels, so my attention turned to her Saint Laurent belt and Bottega Veneta platform leather mules.
