Angela Bassett is back in the spotlight promoting her new film, ‘Gunpowder Milkshake.’

This was the first look I saw on Instagram this morning, and as a result, I no longer need my daily coffee, as this Dolce & Gabbana candy striped blazer and high-waist trouser combo gives me more energy than coffee beans ever could.

I keep looking at the suit on the model on the farfetch.com website, and I’m saying to myself that this really shouldn’t work. 

I should be saying this is too costumey or gimmicky, or that she should’ve just worn the blazer as the hero-piece, but Miss Mama is working the hell out of this look in its entirety.
