A close friend of Steve Irwin has spoken of a feeling of doom in the year leading up to the Crocodile Hunter’s tragic death, as Australia Zoo marks his passing.
Irwin, aged 44, died, during a dive off his boat Croc One on Batt Reef near Port Douglas when a stingray barb pierced his heart.
