Billy Porter attended the 2021 Emmy Awards from L.A. LIVE on Sunday (September 19) in California.

The ‘Cinderella’ star wore a custom-made Ashi Studio black ensemble which is possibly one of his best looks to date.

I love how the dramatic ruffles – which look like wings – see him lean into his fairy godmother character, while serving up some serious drama.

When it comes to the Lorraine Schwartz jewels, I would’ve left the rings at home, but the necklace and cuffs really sold the look.

At first I thought the necklace was part of the top.

Billy Porter on this form – where he does a lot, without doing too much – is the Billy Porter I love.
