Thank you, Carolyn, for keeping me on my toes, and introducing me to philanthropist Sudha Reddy, who was the only person to represent India at the 2021 Met Gala which took place on Monday (September 13) in New York.

In years gone by we’ve seen Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone represent, but for this year’s event Sudha made her red carpet debut.

And what a debut it was, wearing Falguni Shane Peacock Haute Couture gown.

If you are looking for the theme within this embellished golden gown adorned with Swarovski crystals, sequins, and bugle beads, then look no further than the opulent military-inspiration, and the train which features a medley of hues borrowed from the American flag.
