Before I get into the final menswear roundup, I need to give Dan Levy’s Met Gala debut look its own platform, because his Loewe look isn’t just about fashion, as it made an incredibly powerful statement.
Inspired by the ‘In America: A Lexicon of Fashion’ theme, Dan collaborated with Loewe’s creative director Jonathan Anderson to create a look that celebrates “the resilience and the love and the joy” of the LGBTQIA+ community.
The bespoke look contains the work of one of the most influential LGBTQIA+ activists, the late David Wojnarowicz.
