Olivia Rodrigo was one of the many 2021 MTV Video Music Awards performers on Sunday (September 12) in New York City.

The singer wore a vintage gown from the Atelier Versace Spring 2001 collection.

Inspired by the tailored silhouettes of the 1940s, the dress, which features visible boning, was crafted in peach satin and pink tulle.

I wish tulle – which draped along the full length of the dress on the runway – had a better distribution on Olivia.

The intricate draping across the body on the runway is what sells the romance of it all.

From the waist down, this lost its way for me.

Still pretty but would’ve been more magical had her stylist or groomer noticed the inconsistencies. Or perhaps the tulle…
