Penelope Cruz was promoting her second film during the 2021 Venice Film Festival on Saturday (September 4) while attending the photocall and premiere of ‘Competencia Oficial.’

For the photocall the Spanish actress wore a Chanel knit dress which encapsulates the Parisian label’s casual approach.

Some would say too casual, and I’m inclined to agree, but I think the Chanel accessories just about save this look.

But, I could just be thankful that she opted for something other than another boucle skirt suit.

I was delighted to see Penelope in a non-black Chanel dress for the premiere.

This Resort 2022 look was oozing with timeless elegance.
