I am getting a lot of messages around when I will swim next etc…

(A Special “Hello ????” to those of you who are new to following me. You may not yet know that I am swimming 4x more English Channel solo crossings this Channel season to break the WR for Greatest English Channel Crossings. The WR currently stands at 43x held by the great Alison Streeter. ????‍♀️)

I literally don’t know for sure when I will swim the Channel until about 8 – 12hrs beforehand.

And, even then, there is a small chance it will be delayed when I arrive at the dock– due to a change in weather.

I usually have some idea 2 -3 days out that I will be swimming soon. Keeping in mind, the Channel weather is very fickle and the forecast is often changing.

The weather sometimes changes during a channel swim from what was forecast just 6 – 12hrs before.????

So, I can’t tell you when my next Channel crossing is, let alone the 44th crossing.

Here is what I can tell you…

➡️ I am not leaving England until I have swum the Channel 44 times solo. As a guess, I think the 44th crossing will be mid – late September this year.

➡️ I will be updating my social media with as much information as possible about when I am due to swim each crossing

➡️ As I don’t know in advance when my swims will be I don’t know how much break I will get between them.

…I have a good feeling about a swim this Tuesday… let’s sea ???? if the weather cooperates…

Now that I am at 40x crossings I feel like I am on the home stretch ????… thanks for being there in the stands loudly cheering me on. ????
