The last two days of the Cannes Film Festival were pretty uninspiring for me with only a sprinkling of good looks taking to the red carpet.

The one person I had major high hopes for was Gemma Chan who attended the ‘Les Intranquilles (The Restless)’ premiere on Friday (July 16) in France, as the newest L’Oreal ambassador.

She stepped onto the red carpet wearing a Valentino Spring 2021 Haute Couture sequin gold bandeau with a leather pencil skirt, which is endlessly modern and cool, and the styling was very much on point, but I was kinda expecting her to hit us with something bold and dramatic, much like she did during the 2019 awards season.
