It would appear that there was a black and white, or black or white dress code for the late night premiere of Tilda Swinton’s ‘Les Olympiades (Paris 13th District)’ during the 2021 Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (July 14) in France.

Mélanie Laurent opted to adhere to the dress code wearing this custom Balmain two-piece white look.

The wide shot doesn’t do much justice to this look as it’s covered in shimmering crystals, but it would be remiss of me not to point out how loose the hem of the crop top is, and how the shoes don’t work with this outfit.

The Cartier necklace is definitely the best part of this outfit.
