Maria Bakalova attended the ‘Women Do Cry’ photocall during the 2021 Cannes Film Festival today (July 14) in France.

Much like the moment when I saw Bukayo Saka step up to take the decisive penalty for England at the 2020 Euro Final, I scream nooooo when I saw Maria in this Louis Vuitton Resort 2020 look.

I really don’t like these LV boots.

I was willing to give them a chance at the Les Extraits Collection Celebratory Dinner when the likes of Diane Kruger and Sophie Turner (a seasoned LV pro) brought them to the red carpet for the first time, but I was glad Naomi Osaka swerved these boots when she wore this collection to the 2021 ESPY Awards.

I wish Maria had done the same.
