Every eligible elderly care home resident in Greater Glasgow has received their first coronavirus vaccination, NHS has confirmed.
Over 6000 residents across 143 care homes within the health board region have received the jab so far.
The numbers represent 90 per cent of all elderly care home residents in the city of Glasgow, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, West Dunbartonshire and East Dunbartonshire with the exception of 10 per cent – who were unable to be vaccinated initially due to ill health.
