Phew.  What a ride.

For some reason I thought the 2021 Met Gala was scaled back this year, but it seemed stronger than ever.

Here is a roundup of the rest of the attendees who took to the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (September 13) in New York City.

Lorde appeared to be channelling her inner Lana Del Rey wearing this Bode look – created using upcycled materials – because that was the first person I thought of when I saw this look.
