Disney’s ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,’ is set to make history as Marvel’s first-ever Asian superhero film.

The premiere was held on Monday (August 16) at El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles with Jhené Aiko blowing me away on the red carpet.

The singer, who features on the soundtrack, wore an Iris Van Herpen Spring 2021 Haute Couture gown from the ‘Roots of rebirth’ collection that references the intricacy of fungi and the entanglement of life that breathes beneath our feet.

This gown is so incredibly beautiful, and so fitting for a superhero film as it weaves between the extra-terrestrial and the underworld.
